During counseling classes students at BSLK have been learning about "Tacky Words" and how they hurt other people.  Each class made a "Tacky Box" and signed a pledge to "put Tacky Words in their place".

What is your super power?  Our super power is learning to read!!!

We are learning to read one step at a time!  We learned that monster begins with M and we love doing the Monster Mash!!!



Mrs. Millwood

We are going green at BSLK! The next few weeks students will be learning the importance of recycling! Every student, faculty and staff member signed the pledge banner, "Pledging to Be GREEN" and Emeraldlicous aka Ms. Millwood, was in the library this week. Rumor has it there will be a recycling super hero visiting next week!

Mrs. Mosley's Class

In Mrs. Mosley's Class we have been learning about our letter and this week we got to read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and watch all the letters go up the tree and then "BOOM BOOM" fall back out! We had so much fun!
