Students at Big Spring Lake learned about Chinese culture through Chinese New Year. Even our lunchroom go involved by having chopsticks for students to eat with and gave them fortune cookies. Thanks to our local chinese restaurants Asia Garden and Peking Buffet for providing these things! Our librarian and enrichment teachers read books to children, made kites, paper lanterns, and a 100 foot dragon. Here's a fun fact:
