A Trip to the Zoo

We went to the zoo! How about you? We took a field trip to the Birmingham Zoo after studying zoo animals. We had so much fun seeing all the animals, riding the train, and feeding the Lorikeets. We even worked on our map skills while we were there. Thanks to all the parents and volunteers who helped make our day so much fun!

Mobile Dairy comes to BSLK

We concluded our farm unit with a visit from Rosebud and the Mobile Dairy.  The Mobile Dairy is provided by Auburn University.  My students were able to learn all about dairy cows and the process that gets milk from the farm to the store.  

Farm Day with Ms. Nolan's Class

Farm Day at Big Spring Lake Kindergarten School is always so much fun! The children learn so much! We have a fun filled day learning about different animals on the farm, chores farmers do around the farm, and so much more! The children got to hold baby chicks and get on a big blue tractor.
