Caught being Good!

Mrs. C.N. Chamblee's class earned 20 polkadots in their jar for being good! So as a reward, they got to wear hats to school! They had so much fun and were so well behaved! They left their hats on their heads all day long! :)

Fun with Mrs. P. Brown's Class

Mrs. Pam Brown's class has had lots of fun over the last few weeks!  They have had Teddy Bear parties, gone to the Pumpkin Patch, and participated in Apple Week, just to name a few things.  Some of their favorite things about fall are: apple cider, teddy bear tea parties, and going on a bear hunt (oh, no bears, of course!)  They also loved going to the Pumpkin Patch and having a fun time with each other.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Mrs. Charlotte Chamblee's class had a great day at the Pumpkin Patch.  It was a fun way to kick off our Fall unit and October activities.  The boys and girls rode the cow train, worked in the barn, loved all the animals and played in the corn crib.  But the most important task of the day was to pick the "Perfect Pumpkin" and we did!  What a FUN day!

Monster Mash Party

Mrs. Ashleigh Brown's class studied the letter M and things that begin with the m sound.  They ended the week with a Monster Mash party that included making a class monster named after one of their classmates, Mia, and turning themselves into monsters with monster teeth and magic rings!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom

Mrs. Ashleigh Brown's Students at Big Spring Lake Kindergarten enjoyed science explorations using coconuts during a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom unit.  Using their five senses, students recorded observations of the inside and outside of the coconut.  After completing the study they enjoyed tasting coconut milk and meat.
