KidCheck Plus Health Fair 2014
BSLK students once again had the opportunity to participate in the annual KidCheck Plus program. KidCheck coordinators along with nursing students and instructors from Snead State and Jacksonville State provided several screening stations. Students were measured for height and weight and had blood pressure checks. Our students had ear, nose and throat exams and also had a brief dental exam provided by staff from Sarrell Dental Center.
Over 430 of our students had the opportunity to participate in this great screening program. BSLK students always have a great time and the nursing students are provided with a fantastic learning opportunity.
