Once Upon a Time with Mrs. Henderson’s Class

Mrs. Henderson’s boys and girls have been learning about fairy tales, shadows, and weather. February is a BUSY month!!! We began by exploring shadows in a tent. We also read The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We put the two together and presented a shadow puppet play for Mrs. Ables’ class. (We got to turn off all the lights and only use a lamp!) We had a blast!!  We finished up our weather unit by creating a class mural of the water cycle and hung it by our window. We have had so much fun learning about weather, shadows, and fairy tales.
